The O’Fallon Fraternal Order of Police is a fraternal organization made up of police officers and civilians from the O’Fallon Police Department. The O’Fallon Fraternal Order of Police provides support for its membership, while working with the city government to ensure a safe and positive work environment. A primary principle and function of the O’Fallon Fraternal Order of Police is to provide support and community outreach for many organizations within the city, often providing charitable donations to support these groups. Some of the programs which the O’Fallon Fraternal Order of Police supports include the Law Enforcement Special Olympics Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois, the YMCA of Southern Illinois, and Backstoppers. The O’Fallon Fraternal Order of Police also provides annual scholarships to
O’Fallon Township High School students who aspire for a career in law enforcement. In addition, the O’Fallon Fraternal Order of Police hosts it’s annual Cops and Kids event, which is the largest and longest running event in the organizations history. The Cops and Kids event provides Christmas gifts for less fortunate children, while promoting a positive image of the officers working in their community.

Just saying Thank You to our prosecutors and staff at the St Clair County State's Attorney's office. They do a tremendous job and rarely get recognized for it. We like to remind them that they are appreciated by serving up some fantastic food from Joe's Pizza & Pasta of Fairview Heights.

Last week OPD officers took on yet another event to give back to the community. They decided to start a program aimed to helping build bonds with High School age kids in our community.

With the help of the Social Workers at OTHS - O'Fallon Township High School District 203 and our SROs we were able to take 9 OTHS students shopping at Academy Sports for some Christmas gifts. Thanks to Academy Sports + Outdoors for the partnership

Help us come up with a name for what we hope will become an annual event.

Cops and Kids for the grade school kids
Kicks 4 the Soul for JR High age kids
??? What for High School age kids

The holiday spirit was in full swing Sunday morning as O’Fallon police officers helped 50 children shop for presents for themselves and their families.

Smiles and Laughter were plentiful at the O'Fallon, IL. WalMart Sunday morning. Officers from your O'Fallon IL Police Dept escorted approximately 48 children on a shopping spree for Christmas. They were served a healthy breakfast with options of bagels from St Louis Bread Co (donated- thank you) and of course power rings from Wood Bakery (donated as well- Thank you).

After getting fueled up they were off to the races to the toy section, although some chose electronics and clothing first.

Carts were full of toys/clothing
Registers were full of our money💵
Hearts were full of JOY🤗🤗

If you are looking for that fresh Christmas tree...and you want to help a local charitable group, go see our friends Crusaders of St. Jude charity. Tree lot across from City Hall in O'Fallon.

Our officer volunteer their time their a few nights a week, pick the right night and they may have a Free Gia's pizza coupon with the purchase of your tree.
