Greenutley The committee is currently under the auspices of Commissioner Dr. Joseph P. Scarpelli and the Department of Public Works.

🏅 Congratulations to the winners of our Biggest Tomato & Zucchini Contest: James Huey earned top honors for the largest zucchini, weighing in at 6.290 pounds, while Tom Orlinski took home the prize for the largest tomato at 1.675 pounds.

🤩 Congratulations are also in order to the top chefs in our Tomato & Zucchini Cook-Off: Anita Gibaldi won for her zucchini blueberry bread, while Anita Angotti was honored for her vegan zucchini stir-fry.

📖 This week, we welcome the Nutley Book Authors group to the Market, featuring Nutley residents Maryanne Micchelli Conte and Nadia Khan! The group of aspiring and published authors from the Nutley area meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7pm in The Nutley Free Public Library's Stockton Room. Discussions are focused on writing and the business of writing, publishing, and marketing.

🤩 On August 16, we have two ways to celebrate stars of the summer.
🍅 First, green thumbs with a knack for oversized produce, enter our Biggest Tomato & Zucchini Contest! Bring your extra-large tomatoes and zucchini to the Greenutley tent for weigh-in 9am-12pm. Winners announced at noon.
🍅 Second, amateur chefs, show off your culinary talents by registering for our Tomato & Zucchini Cook-off! Bring a homemade dish featuring tomatoes and/or zucchini along with your original recipe to the Greenutley tent from 9:30am to 10:30am.
