Welcome Meagan Dupuis-Fregoe - our new CSE Administrator!

We’re excited to welcome Meagan Dupuis-Fregoe to the NNCS Flyer family as our new CSE Administrator!

Meagan has a passion for helping students thrive; working as a special education teacher for 20 years and providing special education home services to students and families in the Norwood-Norfolk community for the past four years.

Outside of school, she is a proud mom of two boys, and loves supporting them in their sports and drama endeavors.

"I’m incredibly excited to continue working with the amazing students and families in our community and to be a part of supporting their growth and success," she shares. "I look forward to getting to know even more of you along the way!"

August 25 at 5:30 p.m. - 7th Grade Orientation in the ES/MS cafeteria
August 26 at 6 p.m. - 5th Grade Orientation in the ES/MS cafeteria

Attention Seniors!! We are happy to announce that starting this year seniors will be able to paint their parking spots!! Any seniors interested in doing so will apply for a parking pass in the HS Office from Aug 10-21, along with bringing in your proposed design for approval. After approval and receiving your assigned parking spot and parking pass, the week of Aug 24-28 you can come in to paint your assigned spot at any time that is convenient for you. Water-based paint only. See flier below for further info. Any Juniors or Seniors not painting parking spots can pick up their parking passes the first week of school as in past years. If you have any questions please email Ms. Sullivan or Mr. Biffer. Parking spot dimensions will be included in a comment to this post. Thank you to our HS Student Council for proposing this for our Seniors!!

It's time to start thinking Fall Sports! 🏃⚽🏈

A message was sent out previously via ParentSquare to all families who had a student sign up for Fall Sports.
To fill out the necessary paperwork/information so your student is ready and able to start practice on the first day please click on the link below to register them.
The link will close 8/16 so it gives our school nurse time to review all medical information. If your student's registration has not been completed AND approved by our school nurse they may have to miss some practice. We will also have to make sure they have an up to date physical.

Varsity & JV practices can start 8/24
Modified practices can start 8/31
Actual practice times will be forthcoming.

If you created an account last spring for your athlete, you should be able to log into your existing account.
If your student did not do a sport last spring you will need to create an account.

The NNCS Extended Day 2026 Summer Program was filled with healthy choices, creativity, STEAM challenges, teamwork, learning new kitchen skills, and fun in the sun! We had a stellar group of outside agencies that came and worked with us this summer. We’d like to thank Seaway Valley Prevention Council for spending a week with us at our school and then inviting us to their Horizons Clubhouse, Clarkson University for working with our students on various STEM challenges, Cornell Cooperative Extension for teaching us various kitchen skills and making dill pickles, peach salsa, salads, and parfaits with us, the Norwood Beach and staff for hosting us for beach days, and The Nicandri Nature Center and Eisenhower Locks for hosting a couple groups of our students for visits. Our students demonstrated and excelled at what it truly means to be a Flyer💚💛
