4"-7" of total snowfall predicted Saturday early evening thru Sunday night. There is a chance in the higher elevations to see closer to 12" of snow.

Travel Saturday night thru Sunday evening may be difficult at times. Please take that into consideration and try to get what you need at the store Saturday during the day.

We also have another potential major storm early next that could bring more snow to the area.

This is a great reminder for everyone. It's very easy to underestimate the size of emergency vehicles and equipment.

Also if you need a 911 address sign I believe the North Norwich Fire Department has them available to order.

Don’t be this person ! Fresh oil and stone on Bryant Rd and here is the tractor trailer that has been warned to use alternate routes due to permits. So please take caution with the roads. We try out best to improve the roads then this happens.

Sorry for the short notice but we received a Public Service Announcement that the Chenango County DPW will be closing Church Hill Road between Ellison Rd and Bryant Rd Monday May 15th 2023 until project is complete. They are replacing a deck on the bridge.

The Town of North Norwich DID NOT RECEIVE A ANTICIPATED COMPLETION DATE from the county.

We are out sweeping the roads and we just want remind people we will be around to clean up the turn arounds as well. Just be patient. We start with roads that have little to no vocational use such as farm or construction equipment on it.
