Tomorrow is the last day for the 2026 Explore Chenango Outdoor Challenge! Have you stopped at the General Clinton Canoe Regatta?? They have a nice, paved walking trail, some pavilions, a small playground and a frisbee golf course!

Stop at Country Classics Ice Cream & Grill or Bob's Diner for a scoop of ice cream and get your card stamped while you are in the area!

Give it one last hoorah before school starts back up!

Blue Heron Says: "The Explore Chenango Outdoor Challenge ends on September 4th! Time is running out for you to enter and win some cool prizes!"

Take a trip to Sherburne this week to visit Friends of Rogers Environmental Education Center, Inc. for a fun hike among the trees and animals and finish the trip with a scoop of Gilligan's Ice Cream as part of our Ice Cream Trail!

Both challenges have a bunch of cool prizes you can win thanks to our partnerships with Chenango County Health Department and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chenango County!

Check out these cool puzzles we created with a picture of various Chenango County locations! If you are an organization in Chenango County with clientele that congregates at a central location, let us know and we would love to send you a puzzle! We have a limited supply, so first come first served!

Puzzles are great tools for cognitive development including improved problem-solving skills, enhanced spatial awareness, memory and attention, critical thinking and more!
