Founded in 1932, L.A. Najarian, Inc, of Greene, NY has been specializing in custom narrow designed ribbons. The company has manufactured ribbons for Buster Brown shoes, various politicians when advertising hats were used for endorsement, and more currently for Godiva Chocolates. In 1995, it was recorded that the plant made over 8 million feet in ribbons. In this image, Dick Najarian, second generation of the company holds a ribbon made in the plant.

The old stone mill housed the Maydole, David Company with just a few variations of the name as Maydole, David & Co. flour and feed. to later adding flour, feed and grain. and then in 1928 it was Maydole D. Feed Co.

The stone mill street number also changed from 70 W. Main in the earlier years to later being 74 W. Main. The 1928 directory was the last time the Maydole, D. Feed Co. appeared. In the 1930 directory it became Stone Mill Feed Co. and was listed as last appearing in the 1969 directory.
