American Ambulance Service had the honor of hosting State Representatives Irene Haines and Nick Menapace for a 90-minute meet and greet. The visit included a guided tour of the facility and ambulances led by Director of Operations Joshua Beaulieu. We were glad to be joined by East Region President Donna Handley, Director of Government Relations Melissa Riley, Gregory Allard, Director of EMS Affairs and other HHC representatives as we showcased the vital work our team does every day. 🚑👏

On Saturday, May 17, the EMS Network—along with American Ambulance and American Professional Educational Services—proudly supported the 19th Annual Backus Safety Camp. Our team provided Hands-Only CPR and Stop the Bleed training, ambulance tours, and a car seat inspection station. Events like these highlight our ongoing commitment to community safety and preparedness through hands-on education and engagement.

🎉 Congratulations to the first-ever graduates of the Phlebotomy Technician Partnership between American Professional Educational Services (APES) and our East Region! On December 12, 2024, six new phlebotomists celebrated their success after completing a combination of classroom training and hands-on clinical experience at Backus Hospital. Each graduate passed the national certification exam on their first attempt – an amazing accomplishment! This program is a great example of how we're creating more career opportunities and meeting the demand for skilled healthcare professionals. Well done! 👏
