City of Norwich CERT Team The City of Norwich CERT Team provides all types of support for all types of emergencies.

Norwich Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a volunteer organization sponsored by the City of Norwich. CERT is a program developed by FEMA and the U.S Department of Homeland Security to help communities plan, train, and respond to community wide emergencies. Activities include:

Assisting with sheltering

Communications

Traffic control

Sand bagging

Asset control

And more.

Find a community cooling center near you: Contact your local Office of Emergency Management Norwich Fire Department and Emergency Management or visit www.211.org or call them at 2-1-1
