Our members have spoken. Good Trouble Norwalk is proud to announce our first-ever candidate endorsements:
๐ Jillian Gilchrest, U.S. House, CT-01
๐ Jahana Hayes, U.S. House, CT-05
๐ Josh Elliott, Governor of Connecticut
Each candidate was endorsed by a vote of our active members, clearing the 60% threshold our chapter requires. An endorsement is one of the most direct ways we put our values into action: behind people whose platforms align with an economy that works for all, politicians who answer to us, and the systemic change our democracy needs.

Meet a GTN-endorsed candidate: Jillian Gilchrest, for U.S. House, Connecticutโs 1st District.
A state legislator with a background in social work, Gilchrest has been a persistent voice on health care access, gender equity, and protecting the social safety net. That work aligns with Good Troubleโs commitment to dismantling systemic inequities and defending civil rights.
Meet a GTN-endorsed candidate: Jahana Hayes, for U.S. House, Connecticutโs 5th District.
A former National Teacher of the Year, Hayes has centered her work on public education, working families, and expanding access to food assistance and health care. Her record speaks to Good Troubleโs belief in an economy that works for working people and in leaders who answer to their constituents.
Meet a GTN-endorsed candidate: Josh Elliott, for Governor of Connecticut.
A progressive legislator known for championing tax fairness and economic-justice policy, Elliott has consistently pushed for a Connecticut where the economy works for everyone, not just those at the top, which is core to Good Troubleโs mission.
