We’ve been quiet for a little while, but with good reason—Mom started a new role as the Director at Love Grows Love Animal Assisted Learning where God’s love is shared through His creation. Now we’re blessed to be part of that ministry too!

We love being involved in the Stable Connections program and showing up to encourage, teach, and connect with people whenever we can.

Meet Mordecai (“Mordy”), the newest member of our crew! Since he’s just a baby, Mom has been bringing him to the farm regularly to prepare him for the special role God has in store for him.

We hope you’ll come visit Love Grows Love soon—and when you do, be sure to look for Mordecai and the rest of us sharing God’s love in our own unique way!

Big things are happening for the bunnies! Our bunny barn was delivered today. This space will house the bunnies and offer a small gathering space for events such as birthday parties and meetings.
We can’t wait to see everything 2025 has in store.

We are so thankful for the growth our program has experienced this year. Two years ago I had the idea to have a socially trained rabbit to do animal assisted activities with. Little did I know then the path that lay before me. Our herd had grown and our bunnies each have a special purpose! We love sharing the bunnies with the community and seeing the smiles.

We will be participating in a few more activities at Love Grows Love yet this year and big plans are in the works for next year with 3 programs already on the books and more to come. Stay tuned for pictures and updates!

We had an awesome time at Love Grows Love last night watching the bunnies teach the kids about emotions. The kids used observation and knowledge of rabbit communication to identify how each rabbit was feeling.

They noticed that Nilla is a very shy, nervous bunny. However when she was allowed to be in the playyard she became happy and relaxed. We have been wanting to include Nilla in the programs but due to her anxious nature we had to wait till just the right time and last night turned out to be exactly that!

Captain they noticed was relaxed and calm. At one point there was a noise that startled them and they were able to tell that he got scared. He quickly went back to being calm and relaxed.

While they held Captain, Kermit, and Skeeter they talked about their emotions as they snuggled in their bags and their curiosity as they poked their heads up a little farther to look around.

We also read a book about a little boy whose block castle got knocked down and the emotions the animals thought he should have because of it.

The kids learned that there are different ways to handle emotions, ways we can help our friends handle emotions, and that emotions can change quickly.

We are so excited about the new opportunities we have been given to share our programs with the community and can’t wait to see the continued growth!
