Teens are already on a roll this school year! Teen Takeover this week featured a Dungeons & Dragons inspired craft, where teens were able to create their own monster with each roll of the dice. Join us for Teen Takeover on Thursdays after school from 3:30 to 5pm for more crafts, videogames, and snacks!

Don't forget - Graphic Novel Book Club for grades 3-5 resumes this Tuesday, September 8th from 4:30-5:30pm! No registration required and there is not a book to read for this first session. We'll introduce ourselves and chat about our favorite graphic novels, decorate book bags with freezer paper stencils, and pick up October's book.

Our Sunshine Crew delivered over 300 decorated pens to senior residents and staff at Holland Farms Senior Living, StoryPoint (Norwalk) Senior Living, Regency Care Center & Assisted Living, and Norwalk Nursing & Rehab on this hot Friday!

Our Sunshine Crew donates their time and talents every Tuesday afternoon during Play Create Connect. We assemble small gifts or decorate themed cards and deliver once a month for the older adults in the Norwalk community. If you are interested in volunteering with the Sunshine Crew, contact Adult Services Librarian Kayla at [email protected].

We're getting everything ready for Storytime! Our regular weekly storytime schedule resumes on Tuesday, September 8th at 10:30am. Our first storytime theme is "How to Be a Friend" and we'll read, rhyme and sing about making friends and being kind. Featuring a fun new magnet board activity with animals AND trucks!

Good morning and goodnight from the construction site in the library parking lot! We're so glad to make some new excavator friends while they are here to help fix our parking lot. We appreciate everyone's cooperation while these repairs are underway!

We love bringing books to our senior residents Norwalk Nursing & Rehab! Picture books are for everyone!

Kayla from Norwalk Easter Public Library visited today and brought one of our residents some picture books she had been wanting. Thank you Kayla for everything you do.

We are so blessed to have an amazing artist like Reese on our staff. We can't wait for everyone to see their design in action, so make sure to sign up for the Scribbles Walk and Pet Fest to get your bandana!

We are working hard behind the scenes for Scribbles Walk and Pet Fest. In fact, one of the Norwalk Easter Public Library's own, Reese, is designing the bandana (that's included in registration). Any guesses what the 2026 design will be?
