ALL Wolfpit students will enjoy FREE entry to Broadway in the Park, thanks to a grant from the Norwalk Arts & Culture Commission.

One of Norwalk's most anticipated summer traditions, Broadway in the Park will once again transform Mathews Park into an open-air Broadway stage for two weekends in August, inviting families for an afternoon of fun, food, and musical celebration. The talented students and alumni of The Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts will perform beloved numbers from some of musical theater's biggest hits, including Wicked, Hamilton, Aladdin, The Lion King, and Frozen, with sing-along numbers from pop favorites like KPop Demon Hunters thrown in for some extra fun!

Tomorrow is the last performance! It's a must see!

Don't forget to wear your Wolfpit tshirt!

We are ready!!!!

‘Twas the night before school, and all through Wolfpit,
Not a teacher was stirring—not even a bit!
The classrooms were ready, the hallways were bright,
And everything waited for morning’s first light.

The backpacks were packed and the pencils were new,
The sneakers were waiting, and lunchboxes too.
The teachers were dreaming of all they would do,
Of lessons and laughter and friendships brand new.

The bulletin boards sparkled, the classrooms looked great,
The teachers were ready—they simply couldn’t wait!
For children would soon fill each hallway and room,
With giggles and chatter that would make Wolfpit bloom.

There’d be reading and writing, and numbers to learn,
With questions to answer and pages to turn.
There’d be music and art and creativity,
And moments of wonder for all to see.

For Wolfpit is more than a school down the street,
It’s a place where connections and kindness meet.
Where everyone matters, each voice has a place,
And every child enters with a smile on their face.

So here’s to the teachers who give all they can,
Who encourage, support, and help children to stand.
And here’s to our students, both new and returning,
Whose curiosity keeps our whole school year turning!

The buses will come, and the doors will swing wide,
With families and teachers all gathered inside.
And when that first bell rings, the adventure begins—
A brand-new school year, with new chances to win!

So rest up tonight, for tomorrow’s the day—
There are friendships to make and adventures to play.

🎉 In May, we honored our Excellence in Education recipients for the 2025–26 school year, outstanding teachers and support staff who make a lasting impact in their schools.

To make the evening even more meaningful, a colleague from each recipient’s school community shared a few words about what makes their school’s honoree so special. In some cases, students even joined in to express the impact these individuals have had on their school.

I wanted to take a minute to say thank you. Your effort this season made a real difference, and it showed. Wolfpit Integrated Arts finished with 27 kits sold, and that's something to be proud of.

I also wanted to give you a quick update. I was able to pull some strings and extend your school's ordering window through 7/10. You worked hard to promote the July 1st deadline, so I didn't want that effort to go to waste. This just gives a little extra room for any families who dragged their feet or missed the original date.
