Today is International Day of Chairity. The Norwalk Easter Public Library has a variety of ways to give back.

1. Purchase a fun library themed t-shirt
2. Make a one-time or a recurring donation
3. Investment Contributions: Options Include: Cash, stocks and securities, life insurance, real estate, endowment funds, bequests, employer’s matching gifts, and gifts in honor of a loved one
4. Donate your time and talents

The library is closed on Monday in observance of Labor Day. Stop in today or tomorrow to pick up new reads, games, or puzzles. There’s still a few puzzles available for purchase at the front desk.

Did you know that there are stickers and a small batch of puzzles available to purchase at the library's front desk?

The libraries in Central Iowa collaborated with illustrator Kevin Cannon to create individual graphic portraits showcasing each Central Iowa library's unique features. The graphics were compiled into a map highlighting our own library!

We have a small quantity of 500-piece jigsaw puzzles to sell for $20 each at the front desk. We also have water bottle stickers for $2 each. Free printed maps are also available at the front desk to encourage people to visit ALL of the Central Iowa libraries

All proceeds go to the library.

We have something EXTRA adorable in store for Scribbles Walk and Pet Fest. Adoptable dog {keychains}! Maybe you aren't quite ready to take the plunge to pet ownership? Maybe your kids just need something cute and cuddly. We have the perfect pet! These adorable dog keychains are teeny tiny, don't make a mess, come with their own doghouse, AND adoption papers.

These will be available for purchase at Scribbles Walk (October 3rd) or you can pre-purchase your new best friend now.

It’s National Dog Day! The library’s mascot, Scribbles, wants YOU to register for Scribbles Walk and Pet Fest. This is a fun event to do with your furry friend! Take a one-mile stroll through Brownie Park and the community and enjoy food trucks and pet-related vendors at City Park.

The Norwalk Easter Public Library Foundation is working very closely with the for our October 3rd event, Scribbles Walk and Pest Fest! NEPL Staff have chosen the most prrrfect book for our pet-themed event and fundraiser. The book "Perros! Perros! Dogs! Dogs!" by Ginger Foglesong Guy will be the book on display for the story walk! We are still taking registration for participants and vendors!
