Today we held our School Librarians and Youth Workshop in Norton at the Eisenhower Elementary School. Our first speaker Andrea Trudeau taught us about creating a "No-shoosh" environment within our school libraries and how dynamic environments can better serve our students.
Valerie Brown-Kuchera followed up with a very informative and eye-opening talk about artificial intelligence systems and the different roles AI has in our schools today.
We also brought along our new light table, ball drop station, and veterinary clinic playset from our mobile sensory lab to introduce to the school librarians.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch, dessert, book giveaways and a presentation on Play Away learning products also.
Thanks to our speakers and hosts for a great event!

We join with Americans today in honoring those who sacrificed and paid the ultimate price, their lives. There is no greater gift than to lay down one’s life for their country, their families and for the freedom of their fellow Americans.🇺🇸♥️

Next on our check delivery tour is the Friends of Moore Family Library! 📚✨

These awesome ladies are a brand-new nonprofit organization with a big heart for their little library and a vision to keep it thriving for generations to come. Their HVAC system was original to the building and had reached the point where it was no longer working properly, making it difficult to host story hours and community activities during the hot summers and cold winters.

Now, it’s time for new! We are so proud to award them a $3,000 grant toward a new HVAC system so the library can continue being a welcoming place for the community year-round.

Small-town libraries are more than shelves of books. They are gathering places, imagination stations, and quiet little anchors in our communities. We’re honored to help support this project! ❤️
