Over the past few days, members of Norton Fire participated in a joint fire training alongside several local departments. This valuable training (provided free of charge from the Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office) gives firefighters the opportunity to train in a controlled environment and gain hands-on experience with different fire behaviors.

Thank you to Ohio State Fire Marshal Office for providing this great training experience!

Thank you to Barberton Firefighters, Chippewa Township Fire Department, Clinton Firefighters, Village Of Mogadore Fire Department, and Tallmadge Fire Department for joining us!

🚨SMOKE ALERT🚨

Starting today through Wednesday, we are hosting a joint fire training with local departments. This trailer, provided by the Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office, is here to help train our firefighters with real live fire scenarios.

This trailer may be producing smoke in the area of Easton and Greenwich Roads. Please, don’t be alarmed when you see it.

This kind of training helps us better help you!

🧑‍🚒🚒 Today is International Firefighters’ Day — a time to honor the brave men and women who have committed their lives to serving others, and to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Every call they answer comes with uncertainty, yet they show up—ready to face the unthinkable with courage, compassion, and strength.

Take a moment today to thank a firefighter, reflect on their sacrifice, and show appreciation for those who stand ready to protect our community every single day.

We are incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing team serving our Norton community!❤️
