Attention:

The Elm St Water Main replacement project is scheduled to begin on 9/28/2026 with materials and set up taking place over the next week or so.

Minimum impact on traffic should be seen until the 28th and at that time detours will be set up for the duration of the project.
Access will be maintained through out the project for through traffic, service, and emergency vehicles.

Thank you for your patience as this is a great up date to our water distribution system and is funded through an EPA grant.

DPW Announcement :
Line painting will be taking place over night starting around 1 AM.
Contractor will be on S. Worcester and Woodward St., as well as Richardson Ave.
Please seek other routes as possible!

Construction Notice

Paving will take place tomorrow July 31, on Richardson Ave.

Due to weather the last several days we will be paving on Saturday 8/1 on Woodward St.

Tomorrow and Wednesday (weather dependent) we will be milling Richardson Ave down to gravel. Road will be closed from N. Worcester to Mansfield Line.

Dependent on weather we hope to pave binder on Friday. Up dates will be forth coming.

We have an update from our DPW. Due to contractors scheduling milling will take place tomorrow 7/24 on S. Worcester St. between Barrows Ct and John Scott.

On Monday 7/27 paving will take place ar the same location and milling will take place on Woodward St. sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

We would like to inform everyone that milling of Woodward St will take place on Friday 7/24. A complete look ahead will be posted tomorrow.

Our DPW would like to inform those in Barrows Court that we have a significant water break that needs immediate repair. Our Water Division is preparing now to make the emergency repair. Those living in Barrows Court will have their water service affected for the next several hours. We appreciate your patience as we get it taken care of as quickly as possible.

Come on down to the DPW touch a truck at Founders Day here at the Yelle School. We have lots of trucks along with Norton Fire Department!
