PSA currently has multiple water line breaks in Pound including within the town as well as on the outskirts. Our crews are working to get the lines repaired and get the water service restored as soon as possible. We do not have an estimated time of restoration. Please do not stop and ask our crew when services will be restored as the multiple interruptions delay them from focusing on fixing the leak. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Wise County PSA will be closed on Friday, April 3 in observance of Good Friday.

Garbage routes will run as normal.

Attention Water Customers along Clintwood Highway, Mill Creek, and surrounding areas

On Wednesday February 11th, water service may be disrupted at times throughout the day as new water mains are being put into service along Clintwood Highway, Mill Creek Road and surrounding areas. Please plan accordingly. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your patience as we fully implement these improvements to the water system. If all goes well, you may not even notice but be prepared just in case.

We will run our normal garbage routes on Monday. Please bear in mind that routes may be impacted by road conditions. While we will do our best to collect as much as possible, our employees’ safety remains our top priority. As always, please have your garbage cans out by 7 am.

Due to severe weather conditions, residential garbage collection originally scheduled for Monday, January 26, will instead take place on Thursday, January 29. The safety of our employees is our top priority, and this change allows us to operate safely.
