During the search, investigators located multiple fi****ms and numerous electronic devices. Mr. Savinelli was taken into custody on that date and charged with the fi****ms-related offenses. Following a subsequent forensic analysis of the seized electronic devices, investigators identified child sexual abuse material, at which point Mr. Savinelli, who remained in custody, was additionally charged with the child exploitation-related offenses.
Mr. Savinelli was indicted by a grand jury on sixteen counts of Felon in Possession of a Fi***rm, as well as ten counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material and one count of Computer Services Prohibited under New Hampshire law.
He was prohibited from possessing fi****ms due to a prior felony conviction for Disseminating Obscene Matter to a Minor, adjudicated in Newburyport District Court, Massachusetts, in May 2021.
On May 8, 2026, Mr. Savinelli was found guilty pursuant to a plea agreement in Rockingham County Superior Court.
Mr. Savinelli was sentenced to 20 to 60 years in the New Hampshire State Prison, with an additional 20 to 45 years suspended, subject to conditions imposed by the court.
