What a fun tournament! We hosted our annual fireman’s golf tournament and it was packed! 23 teams total. Congrats to the team of Dustin, Jason, Kyler, and Caleb for getting first place! Thank you to everybody that attended and hope to see everybody again next year! And a special thank you to all of our amazing sponsors!

What a weekend! 2025 NDFA Fireman’s Convention in Minot is a wrap and it was a blast. Northwood ended having 10 members attend. Thomas was awarded North Dakota Fireman’s Association life time membership for being chief 3 years. Congrats to Thomas! Minot also hosted a couple events earlier in the week. We got to golf with our neighboring town Hatton on Thursday and had a little friendly competition between us. Jason’s reaction in the pictures sums it up how it went. There was also a shooting competition that was very fun as well. Thank you Minot for hosting us!

Got some good training done out at the Northwood Golf Course this afternoon. We weren’t chipping or putting… we were cleaning up the banks and helping out with the overgrowth the best we could. We even got to do a little training with a future firefighter. Was a great afternoon and thank you Northwood Park Board for giving us a spot to do some training!

Keep an eye on wind and humidity levels in the coming weeks prior to burns.

A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Friday as very low humidity values will combined with breezy southerly winds to create critical fire weather conditions late Friday morning through much of Friday evening.
