A new chapter for Northville began last week. ✂️🌿Community leaders, project partners, and residents gathered on June 17 to celebrate the official opening of Downs River Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

This transformative project restores public access to the Rouge River, creates new park space, and strengthens connections between Downtown Northville, neighborhoods, and regional trails. Thank you to everyone who helped bring this vision to life and joined us to celebrate this exciting milestone for our community.

Rooted in Northville: Where Art Meets Nature 🎨🦋🌳 What started as a small idea outside the Northville Art House has grown into something beautiful. One year ago, Art House volunteers and Plymouth Pollinators planted a native pollinator garden along the building's foundation. Today, it's thriving with blooms that support bees, butterflies, moths, and other beneficial insects while creating a living work of art for the community to enjoy.

The garden is a reminder that creativity and nature go hand in hand, inspiring visitors, supporting local ecosystems, and providing hands-on learning opportunities for all ages. Stop by the Northville Art House to see what's in bloom and discover the pollinators that call it home. 🌿🐝
