What an incredible evening at Variety Bike Night! ๐Ÿšฒโšพ

We were honored to join the celebration as children throughout the community received brand-new bikes thanks to the generosity of Variety - the Children's Charity of Detroit. The night was filled with smiles, excitement, and unforgettable memories. From enjoying a baseball game at UWM Field to watching children ride away on their very own bikes, it was a special evening with many of the families we serve.

Moments like these remind us of the power of community and the joy that comes from creating opportunities for children and families to thrive. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special night possible!

Our next "From Grief to New Hope" 8-Week Workshop will be on Mondays, September 14 - November 2, 2026, from 6:45-8:30pm, offered in-person at Ward Church and virtually. The registration deadline is Monday, September 7th. If you have experienced the death of a loved one, please join us for our workshop, which combines the educational components of a seminar with the safety and support of a peer group. This workshop is for adults who are grieving the death of a loved one, regardless of how long it has been since the loss occurred. This workshop is a safe place to express your grief and begin the healing process. Each session includes a speaker presentation for all and a smaller group discussion time. These small groups are guided by facilitators who have also experienced similar losses and have traveled their own grief journey. This workshop is free, but registration is required.

To provide the best care and group experience for all participants, if you are unable to attend Week 1 or Week 2, you will be withdrawn from this workshop session and be given the option to re-enroll in our next session. Please call our office for more information at (248) 348-0115. Thank you!
