Northville Township is saddened by the loss of our economic development consultant, Gary Roberts. He was instrumental in the development of the Essential Services Complex and the Michigan International Technology Center. Beyond that, he was a good man and a truly nice human being. He fought cancer without complaint, taking it in stride until the end. I will miss him, and will strive to be more like him.

In case you haven’t heard, there are bills in Lansing right now that would strip local planning and zoning decisions from local communities, and hand them to Lansing bureaucrats and real estate developers. SEMCOG, MML, MTA and thousands of local government elected officials oppose these bills. Please tell your state representative and senator to oppose this bad legislation.
