Shikellamy State Park Complex Welcome to the official information page for Shikellamy, Milton, and Susquehanna State Parks, located in Central PA. It is also home to the Hiawatha Paddleboat.

The parks are open daily from sunrise to sunset. Shikellamy State Park is at the confluence of the North and West branches of the Susquehanna River, which divides the park into two sections. The 50-acre Marina Section is at the tip of Packers Island in Northumberland County. This eastern section of the park offers a marina, two boat launches, picnic tables, pavilions, paved paths, and close-up vie

ws of the river. On a 360-foot cliff overlooking the confluence of the river is the 190-acre Overlook Section of the park. In addition to three scenic overlooks, the Overlook offers hiking trails, picnic tables, and pavilions. Milton State Park is an 82-acre island on the West Branch Susquehanna River, between the boroughs of Milton and West Milton. The northern half of the park has day use facilities and the southern half remains in a wooded state for hiking and nature study. Susquehanna State Park is a 20-acre riverfront recreational area in the city of Williamsport. The Williamsport Chamber of Commerce operates this park in cooperation with the DCNR’s Bureau of State Parks.
