Class Donation Fee: $25.00
iPad Protection: (Optional) $30.00
Other Items: Students are required to purchase a backpack without wheels and provide their own water bottle.

The Tuscaloosa County School System has immediate openings available for bus drivers!

TCSS has a New Driver Training Class beginning June 2. The class provides all training needed to become a bus driver. TCSS also provides training for bus aides.

These positions offer health insurance, retirement benefits, and opportunities to drive more when you are available. The positions work well as a part-time job or with other work schedules.

We celebrated our 3 retirees this week. Thank you to Mrs. Catherine Hocutt, Mrs. Suzanne Rabu, and Mrs. Kelley Strickland for dedicating your lives to pouring into our students and making a lasting difference in so many lives. Your love, wisdom, and commitment have helped shape our school community in countless ways.

All of you will be greatly missed, but your impact will continue for years to come. Wishing each of you a joyful and well-deserved retirement filled with happiness, relaxation, and new adventures!

Let’s give a warm welcome to the new member of the Huntington Place team.

Hey everyone! My name is Caroline Colburn and I am so excited to be joining the HPES family as a 4th grade teacher.

My husband, Jackson and I live in Northport and have a two year old daughter named, Saylor. This will be my 7th year teaching, but my first year in TCSS. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and reading a good book.

I am honored to have the opportunity to be a part of the Wildcat family! Looking forward to a fantastic year!

Let’s give a Wildcat welcome to our new SLP.

Hi everyone! My name is Kimberley Moore, and I am excited to be joining the HPES family as the new Speech-Language Pathologist!
I reside in Northport, AL with my husband and our three-year-old daughter, and this will be my third year with TCSS.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cheering on the Tide, baking, and traveling.
I am honored to serve the HPES community and look forward to getting to know the students, families, and staff!

We are proud to celebrate six of our students who were recognized by the National Math Stars organization as exceptional young mathematicians for scoring in the top 2% in the nation on their state math assessment!

These students received a medal and certificate in recognition of their outstanding mathematical achievement, hard work, and dedication. We are incredibly proud of our Math Stars and this amazing accomplishment!
