This week in counseling with Mrs. Emily, our pre-k, kindergarten and 1st grade students learned about Friendship Builders and Friendship Breakers! Since friendship is our character focus for the month, we practice ways to build strong friendships through kindness, sharing, listening, including others, and using respectful words.
Students participated in a “build” a friend activity. Many of them drew their classmates and friends. Some students drew their teachers.
Ask your child: “What is one way you can be a friendship builder?”
