The 5th and 6th graders have been busy starting seedlings in our school greenhouse and are hoping to see you at our annual Drinkwater Plant Sale this Thursday, 6/4 between 10:30-4:00 and Friday 6/5 between 9:30-2:00. We have a variety of veg, fruit, herbs, and flowers available in 6-packs, pots, and lovely hanging baskets. We really appreciate your support! FMI, email [email protected].

Here is our lost and found for 6/1/2026. If you recognize an item, please ask your child to stop into the office, call the school 207 338-3430, or stop in and pick it up.

Last day of school is 06/12/2026. If anything is left behind, we will wash it up and put in our clothing closet or will go to The Good Will.

Our hearts are with everyone who is affected by the Robbin’s Lumber incident yesterday.
Lindsay, our social worker, will be available for any student who needs support during this very difficult time. She is available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Parents are welcome to call the office as well.

Dear Parents,
There has been an increase in the amount of students coming to school sick when they should stay home. Sending your child to school sick increases the spread of illness at school and in the community. Please take these extra steps to help the Drinkwater School stay as illness free as possible:

Please check your child's temperature. If it is 100.0 F or above, keep them home. They need to be home until fever free for at least 24 hours, WITHOUT the use of fever-reducing medications before returning to school.

If they do not have a fever but have complaints of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, body ache, chills, lethargy, or dizziness please keep them home till they are better.

Parents: Please remind your children that they need to bring their warm coats, warm hats, warm mittens, snow pants, and boots.

We go outside most days and they need to be prepared.

The office is running out of spare winter things. We appreciate helping us keep your children nice and warm

Drinkwater: Today Tuesday, January 27, 2026, Northport School Department has a 2 hour delay due to weather. Drop off time at school will be 10:00 AM - 10:25 AM. Buses will be 2 hours from your regular time. Be safe
