Leelanau Township Fire Department would like to introduce our new ambulance Alpha 691. Alpha 691 is a 2025 F550 4x4 built by PL Custom, and is licensed to provide advanced life support. Thank you to the community support that made the purchase of the ambulance possible.

Leelanau Township Fire Department is looking for a Firefighter/Paramedic

Yesterday at the monthly township board meeting, Leelanau Township Firefighters were presented an award, by Supervisor Mike McMillan, for recognition of a CPR save while on duty.

As a result of Advanced Cardiac Life Support care, early CPR, recognition and defibrillation, an individual of the community was able to walk out of Munson Hospital a few days later without any further complications or deficits.
