📚☀️ Sending our students into summer with the tools they need to succeed! ☀️📚

Mrs. Beardslee's 2nd grade students were excited to receive special Summer Learning Bags designed to help prevent the "summer slide" and keep young minds engaged all summer long!

A huge THANK YOU to NCPR for their generous donation, which made these bags possible. Your support helps ensure our students continue learning, reading, and growing even when school is out. ❤️

We are so grateful for community partners who invest in the success of our children. Have a wonderful summer, students—we can't wait to see all the amazing things you'll learn! 🌟📖🎒

Mrs. Burke's class took a field trip to the MAC museum in Spokane last week. The students enjoyed learning about the art, even getting a chance to create their own printmaking art. Students got inspiration to create their own art pieces that will be shared with their classmates next week!

Our community is pretty amazing 🥰 thank you to all of our supporters, we couldn’t do it without you!

In small communities, partnerships mean everything. 💙

Communities In Schools is incredibly grateful for the amazing support we receive in Northport, WA from partners who continuously step up for students and families at Northport Schools.

Recently, our Student Support Coordinator was working to meet the clothing needs of a student and reached out to Tim and Julie Mann who run The Cottage for help. Thanks to their generosity and strong partnership, they were able to quickly provide exactly what was needed.

Because sometimes it’s about more than clothing—it’s about dignity, confidence, and making sure a student feels cared for. ✨

We also want to recognize the incredible support of the Northport Bible Church, whose ongoing generosity helps provide food, clothing, and other basic needs for students and families each month. Their kindness makes a direct impact every single day, including helping ensure our junior high athletes are fed and supported. 🍎🏀

Together, these partnerships show what community is all about: people coming together to make sure kids have what they need to succeed.

To the Northport Community - We are so thankful. 💙
