From: TCBA Administrative Team
The Christian Ministry Center will be closing effective August 22. That is the last day that they will be open to receive clients. Thank you to every volunteer who has served our community for the Kingdom through this ministry.
After August 22, please direct all item donations to:
One Mission
238 McFarland Blvd
Northport, AL 35476
onemissiontc.com
205-614-2849
We also encourage churches and ministry leaders to refer those needing help to contact them as well. They will take initial intake information by phone, their website, and make referrals and appointments as needed. This will serve to begin the coming together of Tuscaloosa County Baptists and One Mission in a sense of partnership as we work toward the goal of getting to our new location that will be known as The Center.
It is important to note that One Mission will begin a refresh of the Christian Ministry Center in its current location and they have plans to re-open it to function as a "Neighbors in Need" Center by January of 2025. This ministry is a tangible step in a partnership between TCBA, One Mission, and others that will invite our churches, businesses, and individuals from across Tuscaloosa County to come alongside these efforts as we prepare a transition into the new building.
For informational purposes, we would like to communicate that money given to the Christian Ministry Center will remain separated in designated ministry center account. It will continue to serve its current functions of funding Ministry Center Operations to include operational expenses of the current Good Samaritan Clinic and proposed "Neighbors in Need" center of One Mission for 2025 as we move toward opening our new building, The Center.
Good Samaritan Clinic (located at 3880 Watermelon Road, Northport, AL 35473) will remain open and operational at their current location and are not affected by this closing.
Thank you,
TCBA Administrative Team
