This week's No-Bid Contract of the Week: Ventnor. In February of 2010, Mr. Polistina was awarded yet another no bid contract from a town he represents. Ventnor City appointed Polistina as an engineer "without competitive bidding" last year. So despite what Asm. Amodeo and Polistina are telling you, no bid contracts are alive and well. The real question: Why are Vince Polistina and John Amodeo trying to mislead you?

Last week's No-Bid Contract of the Week: Estell Manor. In Estell Manor, a town in the 2nd Legislative District -- but was redistricted out during the 2010 Census, Assemblyman Polistina received public contracts worth $16,000 of taxpayer dollars. Prior joining the Legislature, Asm. Polistina's no bid contracts made up about 60 percent of his total business. That number is now 85 percent.

Vince Polistina, Republican candidate for State Senate in LD-2, has made a lot of money being a juiced in civil engineer (a lot of money). One of the ways he was able to get his hands on taxpayer cash was through no-bid contracts.
