Good morning everyone!!! We just wanted to put some info out to everyone that you may not know. Did you know that the yearly operating budget for Hope Fire Co is over 300,000 dollars a year? Did you know that between NC Boro and Susq. Twp., Hope Fire Co receives only roughly 25,000 dollars a year? That leaves our volunteers to come up with around 275,000 dollars a year just to be able to cover operating expenses. (That's a lot of hoagies to sell!!!!) Those expenses include fuel for the trucks, maintenance on the trucks and equipment, maintenance on the station, replacing damaged or outdated gear and equipment, ect., ect., ect. This is why it is so important that our community supports its local fire departments and supports all the fund drives you see, either online or in person events. We truly couldn't do what we do without the support of our community and we greatly appreciate all the support you all have shown us over the years and look forward to your continued support in the future!!!
