We had a wonderful morning welcoming students to our Summer School 2026 program. 👋☀So many fun academic adventures are beginning, and we are grateful to our staff and volunteers (many of them former District 30 students) for making this summer a bright one for our learners!

When school is out, our teachers are IN! Staff leaders and members of District 30's administrative team are collaborating on Day 2 of our annual Data Retreat. During this two-day event, they review data related to academics, social-emotional learning, staff engagement and more to develop school improvement goals. Their efforts will guide our schools through 2026-27, and we thank these educators for dedicating time to this essential work!

Summer reading started in the library's amazing "Big Backyard," the annual immersive year-end reading experience created LMC team Mrs. Janavicius and Mrs. Marsh. Summer reading for ALL District 30 students can continue at the Glenview Public Library and Northbrook Public Library, whose programs are now open! Visit their pages to learn more!

We have enjoyed a wonderful school year with all our students, staff and community and now everyone deserves a break! We look forward to seeing our Summer School students at Maple on June 15 at 8:30 a.m., and on the first day of school August 19.

Our last day of school was marked by Closing Ceremonies at Wescott and Willowbrook that celebrate the 5th-graders' promotion to Maple School! We are so proud of them and every single District 30 student for their incredible accomplishments this year – and we thank the teachers and staff that made it all possible. We wish you a wonderful summer and congratulations to all!

What a strong finish! 👏👏👏Wescott's End-of-Year Assembly this week celebrated the final raffle winners who earned "Way to Go, Wolf Tickets;" honored students who made achievements in reading and music; cheered Field Day winners; and even featured a mid-point Macarena dance break! Congratulations to our Wolf students and staff on an outstanding year!

Maple's 6th- and 7th-grade Mustangs enjoyed beautiful weather for the school's 2026 Field Day on Wednesday! ☀️ Thank our students for their school spirit and sportsmanship, and to our staff for organizing this day of fun!

Willowbrook closed out the final day of school with the annual Celebration of Learning Assembly. This tradition honors students in the 5th-Grade Jobs program, student musicians, Battle of the Books and other annual reading programs, and other Wildcat honors. It also celebrates the Field Day winner of the Willow Cup, which went to Ms. Weiland's 2nd-grade class. Congratulations to all on an outstanding year!
