Nashawannuck Brook Glow-Up!
The Nashawannuck Brook Restoration project is moving ahead quickly, we're so excited to be starting work to reconnect the Brook with its surrounding floodplain, wetlands, and wildlife habitat, as part of the first golf course rewilding in Massachusetts.
Before: large stones and rock lined the brook, which was funneled into an artificial, excavated channel
Now: Big stones removed, rip-rap material and channel exposed. Stay tuned to see what what happens next!
