🏊♀️🎉 From first splashes on Monday to graduation day today, these campers showed just how much can happen in one week.
Congratulations to the participants of the 3rd Annual Adaptive Swim Camp at Mississippi State University!
Throughout the week, campers worked alongside trained instructors and volunteers to build water safety skills, gain confidence, and achieve milestones that may have seemed out of reach just days before. Today, they celebrate those accomplishments as they graduate from camp.
MDRS is proud that the Office of Special Disability Programs' Traumatic Brain Injury/Spinal Cord Injury Trust Fund helps sponsor this adaptive swim program, creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities to learn essential water safety skills, increase independence, and gain confidence in and around the water.
Congratulations to this year's graduates, their families, and the dedicated staff, students, and volunteers who made another successful Adaptive Swim Camp possible!
💙 Every achievement started with a first step—or in this case, a first splash.
