In honor of Hailey Buzbee and the entire Buzbee family, the City of Fishers has designated February as “Go Pink for Hailey Month.”

The North Vernon Fire Department stands with the Buzbee family, our public safety partners at the Fishers Police Department, and the Fishers community during this incredibly difficult time. To show our support and remembrance, the North Vernon Fire Department will display a pink badge as our profile image throughout the month of February.

Our hearts and thoughts continue to be with the Buzbee family and all those affected.

Firefighters from A and B-shift had the pleasure of handing out cupcakes and twinkies last night during sweet street in the City of North Vernon. FirePup came out again to greet the kids l, and even took time to get a few pictures taken with Mayor Shawn Gerkin and fellow first responders from the North Vernon Police Department. We had a great time seeing all the families, and can't wait to do it again next year!

Everyone get ready for the 2nd annual dodgeball tournament against NVPD. This year we will be gathering monetary donations for Jennings Co. Animal Control. This year it will be held at the High School Auxiliary Gym from 5-7pm. Hope to see you there 🚒☄️🚓

Today has been a very busy day for B shift crew. Started with Fire Prevention at OVO Head Start then Imagination Daycare. Around one o’clock they were toned out for a vehicle fire to arrive and find a fully envolved garage with two classic cars. Thanks to the following Fire Depts. Vernon Twp. Fire, Scipio/Geneva, Campbell and Lovett for all the help in extinguishing the fire.
