The Wendelville Fire Company responded to the MVA on S. Transit Rd this morning to provide medical attention to patients involved. Due to our training, and skilled members ,we were able to safely extricate all the passengers from the wreckage.
We at Wendelville constantly provide training for our members to ensure when they arrive on scene they provide the necessary care in a professional and safe manner. Although we hope and pray that no one ever needs us for these skills, know that we are always ready to respond and provide aid when needed.
We thank all our neighboring county and town partners that were there to assist with the scene along with the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office and tow truck operators.

On Monday our Engine 3 was on scene of an incident that ended well for the homeowner. After the call was completed, the resident and her young (about 4 or 5 yr old girl and boy) took a tour of the inside of our E3. As our firefighters were showing them flashlights, and various other items, it was mentioned that most of the Wendelville engines have mascots, but for some reason E3 didn’t. The the children heard this the entire family ran into the house and came out with what you see in the photo!!
We at Wendelville appreciate all of the residents that we serve and say thank you to that special family for our new E3 mascot. Now we just need to find a new name for our feathered friend and be extra careful driving around in late November.

Today the Wendelville Fire Company had the honor to attend the Pendleton Veterans Association Memorial Day Wreath Laying Ceremony. We at the Wendelville Fire Company thank all those brave souls that made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and pray for their families.

Last night Wendelville Fire Company was honored to receive the Catholic Health Agency of the Year Award. We at Wendelville are thankful and humbled to receive this honor.
The Wendelville Fire Company is committed to providing the best services to our community and this recognition is greatly appreciated. Congratulations to all of our members that work hard daily serving our community.
