CSE Parent Volunteers: We are seeking parent volunteers to serve as CSE Parent Members and help support students and families during Committee on Special Education meetings.

This is a meaningful opportunity for parents of children with disabilities to share their perspective, support the process, and make a positive difference for families in our school community.

Training is provided, and participation is based on meeting needs.

The Jacks that Care Work-Base Learning classes just completed their 5th year of our Summer Grocery Bag Project!
This year, students assembled 60 grocery bags filled with food to support families in our school community. The groceries were purchased using donated gift cards from North Tonawanda United Teachers (NTUT).
In addition, the reusable fabric grocery bags were handmade by students in the Jacks that Care Work-Based Learning classes in collaboration with our Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) classes.
Each school building received 10 grocery bags to distribute to families in need, helping to provide support as students and families transition into the summer months.
We are grateful to NTUT for their generous donation and to all the students and staff whose hard work made this project possible. Their dedication and teamwork continue to make a positive difference in our community.

🎉 Spruce Elementary Fun Run – A Huge Success! 🎉
We are thrilled to share that our Fun Run Fundraiser was an incredible success! Thanks to the energy, enthusiasm, and support of our amazing students, families, and staff, the day was filled with laughter, teamwork, and school pride.

Our students truly shined as they ran, cheered one another on, and demonstrated what it means to be part of a positive and supportive school community. It was so wonderful to see everyone having so much fun.

A special thank you goes out to:
• Our families for your generous support and encouragement
• Our SPTO who organized and ran the event (you're the best!)
• And of course, our students, who gave it their all and made the day unforgettable
• Robert James Sales for your generous t-shirt sponsorship

Because of your collective efforts, we were able to make this fundraiser both fun and meaningful. We raised well above our goal! The funds will directly support opportunities and experiences for our students here at Spruce Elementary.

We are so proud of our school family—thank you for making events like this so special!

Way to go, Spruce Elementary!
