🇺🇸 SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 — NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸
Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the countless families whose lives were changed forever.
We remember the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while answering the call to help others. We remember the police officers, EMTs, paramedics, military members, and countless civilians who lost their lives that day.
At Frontier Volunteer Fire Company, we are fortunate to have a tangible piece of that history within our own department. In 2010, our company received a section of steel girder from the North Tower of the World Trade Center. That piece of steel has been displayed at our training center and serves as a constant reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and brotherhood demonstrated that day.
Our memorial stands not only as a reminder of those we lost, but as a promise that we will never forget their names, their sacrifice, or the reason they ran toward the danger.
25 years later, we remember.
We honor them.
We remember them.
We carry their legacy forward.
