🚨 MISSING / ENDANGERED ADULT ALERT 🚨

The Village of North Syracuse Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing endangered adult, Joaquin Rivera.

Mr. Rivera is a 67-year-old Hispanic male, approximately 4’11” tall, with gray hair and a gray goatee. He was last seen on Smith Road wearing blue jeans, a black tank top, and black sneakers.

Family members and police are concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone who may have seen Mr. Rivera or has information regarding his whereabouts to contact the Village of North Syracuse Police Department immediately at 315-458-5670 or call 911.

The North Syracuse Police Department has three Certified Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Technicians on staff!

These certified child safety seat inspectors are specially trained to help ensure that car seats are installed correctly and that children are traveling as safely as possible. Proper car seat installation can make a significant difference in protecting young passengers, and our techs are here to help.

If you have questions about your child's car seat or would like assistance checking that it's installed properly, contact the North Syracuse Police Department for more information and to schedule an appointment.

Per North Syracuse Local Law:

§ 169-8Hawking, peddling and soliciting prohibited.

It shall be unlawful for any person within the corporate limits of the village to act as a hawker, peddler, or solicitor as herein defined or to assist in such actions.
