In observance of Memorial Day, our city offices are closed. If you need to make a report or talk to an officer, please contact our non-emergency dispatch at 801-298-6000. For all life threatening emergencies, dial 9-1-1.

Are you a victim of fraud? Did you wake up to find someone broke into your vehicle and helped themselves to your belongings? Call our non-emergency dispatch at 801-298-6000 to make a report.

Are you driving on I-15 and see a reckless driver or a dangerous road hazard? I-15 falls under Utah Highway Patrol's jurisdiction. Call 801-447-8120 to report this.

For life-threatening emergencies, call 9-1-1.

For all other inquiries, such as information on requesting police reports, criminal history checks, SO registration, etc., call our administrative office at 801-335-8650.

UPDATE: The evacuation order has been lifted.

Attention residents:

The emergency alert that just went out to your cell phones pertains to a limited area in West Bountiful. There is no evacuation order for residents in North Salt Lake.

Update: Per West Bountiful City's page: Public Safety Officials ask residents in a limited area near 1100 W and 1400 N (in West Bountiful) to evacuate immediately while they remove nearby explosives.

This week, we'd like to show our appreciation to our dispatchers! They are the first line of contact in some of your worst moments. They are the calm in the chaos, and the steady voice on the line. They guide, support, and respond when it matters most. Dispatchers play an important role in coordinating with law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other emergency services. We could not do our job without these behind-the-scenes heroes. Your hard work, strength, and compassion do not go unnoticed. Thank you, dispatchers!

We love Safe Harbor Crisis Center! Their advocates assist victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in obtaining much needed resources such as shelter, therapy, and assistance with obtaining protective orders. Safe Harbor is having a 5K fundraiser on April 24th at 7:00pm. Be sure to get registered!

Only TWO more days to enter the North Salt Lake Police Department's first annual St. Patrick's Day Coloring Contest!🎨

The contest is open to all residents of the city of North Salt Lake. You can either print or pick up the coloring page from the North Salt Lake Police Department during normal business hours (Monday - Thursday 7:00-5:30). Please make sure to write your phone number - or your parent's phone number if under 18 - on the back of the coloring page so we can get ahold of all artists.
All completed artwork is due back to the North Salt Lake Police Department by Thursday, March 12 at 5:30pm. Three winners from each age category will be announced on St. Patrick's Day, Tuesday, March 17. Winners can collect their prizes by the end of the month.
