"The Nature of Things" was an environmental outreach program that presented live animal presentations to schools and centers throughout New York and Connecticut. We presented programs at various early childhood centers, elementary schools, special needs programs, recreation programs, and senior citizens accompanied by hands on science education that utilized our live animal collection. Due to the

lack of available in person programming due to the dramatic effects of the COVID pandemic, the program officially closed on April 5, 2021. We thank all our former schools, centers, and supporters for their unwavering support for almost 40 years.
