-It’s time for our community to come together. We can look back, point fingers and
fail. Or we can rise above and move forward to improvement.
-I plan to promote plans for modernizing and improving the education we provide Royalton’s kids. Flipped classrooms, blended classrooms and one-to-one technology can bring our system into the 21st century. The arts should not be optional…they are a big part of what makes our society great. Our teachers already do a fantastic job. It’s time to support them with more modern methodologies.
-Misunderstanding, poor communication, politics and gamesmanship don’t help a community. I do not answer to the rigid platform of a single political party. I take in the facts…and make a decision based upon what I feel is best for the community and our children. These choices aren’t easy. But I make them outside of unyielding dogma and catchy soundbites.
-It’s easy to cast stones at those working to build something. It’s much more difficult to lead a community in a direction most can support, but from which all can benefit. I’m willing to take on the criticism and choose the more difficult path…for our children and for our community. I’m offering a plan and invite your input.
-The future requires a plan. A plan that doesn’t move forward until the entire community has been heard. A plan that takes all viewpoints into consideration, then moves forward in a manner the entire community can support
-Whatever you might believe about the past, it’s time to look to the future. We’ve done great things in North Royalton. Now, it’s time to do even better.
