Sarah Wojslaw, NoRo City Council Ward 3

Sarah Wojslaw, NoRo City Council Ward 3 North Royalton Resident. Proud Mama Bear. Active in both the community and schools. Running for City Council Ward 3.

I was born and raised in North Royalton and graduated with the Class of ’98. After briefly leaving to pursue my career, I found my way back home—and I’ve been rooted here for the past nine years. My daughter now attends North Royalton schools, just like I did. Community involvement is something I value deeply. I’ve proudly served on the PTA for the past seven years, and I’m excited to be a Girls o

n the Run coach for the upcoming season. I’ve also participated in citywide green clean-up efforts and helped launch the North Royalton Crochet Club as a founding member. Whether it’s volunteering at school, coaching, or picking up litter, I always include my daughter—because I want her to grow up knowing the importance of giving back to the place we call home.

Did you ever wonder what happens after you contact your Council Member with a concern? Here you go!

Since there are so many departments and potential overlapping concerns, all concerns get funneled through the Mayor’s office. The Mayor’s office sends the request to the appropriate department for action to be taken.

Every Friday, the list of concerns and status is updated. That is when we will update you!

There are always exceptions to this for immediate dangers occurring or other potentially dangerous or hazardous conditions.

I hope this helps!

Well, at some point, the rain will stop long enough for all scheduled baseball and softball games to be played. When that time FINALLY comes, you’ll be able to see a new sign on the fencing! City Council, and Paul Marnecheck (now Mayor) are proud to sponsor all our teams at York Fields!

Another successful Day of Service by our Sixth Graders! This time we worked at Memorial Park, removing leaves and sticks from around the splash pad, playground, soccer and baseball fields. These eager to serve kids did an amazing job making the park look refreshed.
Shoutout to all the kids, teachers, staff, parents and City Council members that helped with this huge endeavor. A special thank you to Mrs. Carnabuci for organizing, what I hope will become a yearly tradition for our Middle School Bears , a huge success!

Another great Safety Fair in the books! This is such an amazing event that the North Royalton Fire Department puts on every year. Kathy Salvo does a wonderful job coordinating with all the city departments, vendors and groups to make it special for kids and adults alike. My daughter now wants a horse (due to the Mounted Police Units that were there) but had to settle for an ID that was created right on site!
