What's New Wednesday: Teen Space Edition!

As we finish Phase One of construction, the BRAND NEW Teen Space in the former computer lab is really starting to take shape! YA books have hit the shelves and furniture has been moved in that will offer a variety of different study set-ups!

These renovations of the North Ridgeville are made possible through the funding of our 2019 levy, which is currently on the ballot for a RENEWAL. Vote YES on Issue 8!

FACT FRIDAY: People still use the library! Between December 2022 and November 2023, the North Ridgeville Branch loaned 260,988 items and since the last levy passed in 2019 there have been over 450,000 visitors! That's like filling Browns Stadium over six and a half times!

What's New Wednesday: Meeting Room Edition!

As part of the library's renovation, we have been making changes to the meeting room and study space offerings at the North Ridgeville Branch!

The former home of the nonfiction section has been converted into two conference-style rooms that will seat six to ten people. The study rooms, which used to only be able to seat two people will now be able to host four.

The Adult Quiet Reading Room has also transitioned into a meeting room space while the former Meeting Room C (with its stained-glass window and fireplace) will become the new quiet reading room!

What's New Wednesday: Create Space Edition!

Thanks to funds from our 2019 levy, the North Ridgeville Branch is getting a Create Space as part of the library's renovation! Available machines will include: a laser cutter/engraver, embroidery machine, sublimation printer, heat press, 3D printer, Cricut, CNC desktop milling machine, sewing machine and a long arm quilting machine!
