As we continue to work through our road projects and navigating overlapping traffic control plans, we wanted to make you aware that tomorrow, June 18, 2600 N will be inaccessible due to paving being done.

Please avoid 2600 N while crews are on site so work is completed efficiently.

GREEN WASTE & RECYCLING CLOSED:
Monday, June 15, 2026

In observation of the Juneteenth holiday, the Green Waste Pit will be closed for drop off of yard waste and recycling.

The pit will be open Saturday, June 13 and after the holiday on Wednesday, June 17 for it's normal operating hours.

Trash collection will not experience delays for this holiday. Please have your cans out on their normal trash pick up day.

Pineview Water Systems has notified us of a main break just below 3100 N on 300 E.

They will be doing a night repair tonight, June 11, 2026, beginning at 9 PM to get services restored to homes in the area.

Please see their traffic control plan for detours as it will result in an adjustment to our 450 E road widening detour.

Their plan is to have the road reopened by 7 AM provided they don't run into any unforeseen problems.

Please proceed through residential areas with caution, and at the posted 25 MPH speed limit, to ensure all residents remain safe.

2026 STREET MAINTENANCE PROJECTS:
Beginning June 8, 2026

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve and maintain city streets, several roads throughout the city will undergo construction and rehabilitation work over the coming months.

Because each street requires different types of repairs, you may see utility crews working on one street while paving operations are taking place on another. This is a normal part of the construction process and helps keep projects moving efficiently.

Residents who may experience temporary access restrictions to their homes will receive advance notice through door hangers with project-specific information.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during construction. Please follow all posted detours and traffic control signs to help keep workers, residents, and motorists safe and to ensure projects are completed as quickly as possible.

LONG TERM ROAD CLOSURE
450 E between Elberta Dr & 3100 N

Beginning MAY 11, 2026 the 450 E road widening project will begin.

Due to the constricted nature of the area and the scope of work that needs to be completed, 450 E between Elberta & 3100 N will be closed to thru traffic, potentially until the project is completed.

Homes located on 450 E within the work zone will have access to their property, but we ask that anyone not living on 450 E utilize the detour routes of Elberta Dr & 2850 N to access destinations around the area.

There will be a page on our city website dedicated to this project and progress updates will be posted there. This way residents, including those who don't have access to social media, can stay up to date on the project.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to improve the safety and condition of North Ogden City roads.
