Interested in a career in law enforcement? The North Myrtle Beach Police Department Cadet Program gives young people ages 14-20 a firsthand look at the profession while developing leadership, teamwork, and real-world skills.

Cadets participate in hands-on training, ride-alongs, competitions, and learn from officers across multiple divisions. Whether you're interested in patrol, investigations, dispatch, or simply want to serve your community, this program is a great way to explore your future.

As Cadet Angela Jones puts it, "I've always wanted to help people."

๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿป A Special Gift for Our Youngest Community Members ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’™

The North Myrtle Beach Police Department would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Blakely Best for her generous donation of 250 stuffed animals for our officers to give to children during times when a little comfort can make a big difference.

Blakley made this donation in honor of her father, Sgt. Gordon Best, whose dedication to serving others continues to inspire people through Blakely.

Thanks to her kindness, our officers will have a special way to bring smiles, comfort, and reassurance to children they encounter throughout our community.

Thank you, Blakley, for helping us make a positive differenceโ€”one stuffed animal at a time. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿป

It has been a great year building relationships, sharing smiles, and helping keep our school community safe. Thank you to the teachers, administrators, and parents for your support throughout the year.

To all of our students: enjoy your summer break, make good choices, and have fun.
