We have seen the polite elite squander billions of dollars on pork projects while our infrastructure crumbles. Then these same politicians turn around and demand that we bail out their fiscal incompetence with more taxes. So how do we everyday South Carolinians get our elected politicians to pay attention to our real-life concerns instead of their political games? The answer is what The Applecart is all about: The career politicians in our Statehouse, County Office Complexes and City Halls have spent a lot of time talking at us – now it’s time for them to listen to us. The Applecart is dedicated to holding politician’s feet to the fire on the practical issues that will actually improve our state and our lives. If the career politicians refuse to listen, then The Applecart will work tirelessly to replace them on Election Day. We will use every available means – from GOOGLE and Facebook ads, TV ads to constituent letters and mailers – to help educate busy people and urge our State and Local leaders to take action on this commonsense punch-list for positive change. The bottom line is this: we believe that if we educate, equip and mobilize millions of regular South Carolinians, we can make our state great again – from the ground up.
