Good News Community "Food Pantry" Food Pantry distributing Food to help meet the need of families in our community! Some of our programs include:

1. Good News Food Pantry is open to the public.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday by appointment
Saturday: 1:00PM-2:00PM No Appointment Needed
Homeless Feeding once a month. Good News Community serves over 10,000 individuals per year in Miami-Dade County through our various programs. We distribute boxes of groceries and produce twice a week, Wednesday and Saturday .

2. Our Back to School program take place every August, where we collect and distr

ibute backpack and school supplies to the children of our community.

3. USDA food distribution on the first Friday of the month.

4. Homeless program that takes food to the homeless where they congregate seven days a week 365 days a year so that they do not have to go hungry. We also work with other organizations to bring clothing and other household items to our clients, with limited resources. such as, infant care items, health care, employment, and educational opportunities.

Before the trucks. Before the smiles. Before the groceries hit the cars… there’s them.
This is our volunteer family — past and present. From packing boxes during COVID, to unloading donations in the heat, to showing up year after year because “community” isn’t a buzzword here. It’s a commitment.
Some faces you’ll recognize. Some have moved on. All of them helped build what Good News Community Food Pantry is today.
To every volunteer who’s ever packed a box, lifted a case of water, or prayed with a neighbor: thank you. North Miami is stronger because of you.

It’s not just on the Haitian flag. It’s what we live out every week at Good News Community Food Pantry.
Did you know? May is Haitian Heritage Month, and May 18th is Haitian Flag Day — celebrating the flag created in 1803 and the unity that won Haiti’s independence.
That same unity shows up in North Miami when neighbors help neighbors. When volunteers load groceries. When we dance, pray, and eat together.
So we’re celebrating BIG:
