***Homicide Suspect Arrested***
On September 7, 2026, at approximately 11:00p.m., North Little Rock Police apprehended Kendrick Givens Jr., without incident, at a residence on Sycamore Street in North Little Rock.

He was transported to the NLR Justice Center where he was interviewed by NLRPD Detectives. Following the interview, Mr. Givens was charged with one count of Capital Murder.

He has been transported to the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility where he is currently being held without bond.

Search for Charles Noise Continues; Additional Resources Join Effort

The search continues for Mr. Charles Noise, who is the subject of the Silver Alert issued on August 30, 2026.

NLRPD personnel continue searching The Blossoms facility, surrounding neighborhoods, and nearby wooded areas.

Additional specialized resources have joined the search. The 3R-K9 Search Foundation began assisting on September 2 with specially trained search dogs and aerial drone support. This morning, Conway County Office of Emergency Management Search and Rescue joined the effort with additional K-9 teams.

Search operations remain active. At this time, civilian volunteers are not needed, and we ask the public not to conduct independent searches, as uncoordinated efforts could interfere with ongoing search operations.

A Silver Alert was activated on Sunday, August 30, for Mr. Charles Noise. At this time, there is no new information regarding his whereabouts.

Members of NLRPD continue to diligently search for Mr. Noise. We are re-releasing this information and once again asking for the public’s assistance. Anyone who may have seen Mr. Noise or has information that could help officers locate him is urged to contact NLRPD.

Please be aware that Mr. Noise suffers from Alzheimer’s, Type 2 Diabetes, Kidney Disease, and Depression, and he may become combative.

This afternoon, members of our NLRPD family gathered to celebrate the retirement of Sergeant Chris Gann after more than 29 years of dedicated service to the citizens of North Little Rock.

During his career, Sgt. Gann served in both the Patrol and Detective Divisions, was a Field Training Officer, and proudly served as a member of the NLRPD Honor Guard for 23 years.

Sgt. Gann, you are truly one of the best and will certainly be missed. We wish you all the best as you begin this next chapter. Congratulations on your retirement, and thank you for your many years of service to the NLRPD and the City of North Little Rock!

NLRPD is searching for 70 year old Charles Noise (B/M) who was last seen at 2501 John Ashley (The Blossoms at North Little Rock Rehab & Nursing Center) on 8-29-26 at approx. 11:00pm. He is a resident at the center.

Mr. Noise is approx. 6’0’ tall and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing either a black or blue plaid jacket or shirt and a baseball hat.

Officers were informed by a Blossoms representative that Mr. Noise suffers from Alzheimer’s, Type 2 Diabetes, Kidney Disease, Depression, and may be combative.

Both suspects wanted in connection with the homicide that occurred at 8108 Counts Massie Road (Circle K gas station) are now in custody. Arrest information listed below:

On August 20,2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Kendrick Norris Jr. turned himself into detectives at the North Little Rock Justice Center. Mr. Norris was taken into custody without incident on an active warrant charging him with one count of Capital Murder, two counts Terroristic Act, one count Aggravated Assault, and one count of Possession of Fi***rm by Certain Person.

On August 10, 2026, at approximately 2:33 p.m., officers with the North Little Rock Police Department, along with members of the U.S. Marshals Eastern Arkansas Fugitive Task Force, located Clenton Withers at a residence in North Little Rock. Withers was taken into custody without incident on an active warrant charging him with one count of Capital Murder, three counts of Terroristic Act, and five counts of Aggravated Assault.
