The history of the 90th TO patch dates back to World War I. Our lineage is now carried out by the Soldiers of the 90th Sustainment Brigade, Commanded by COL Dixon T. Brockbank and Command Sergeants Major Cierro Faulk.

Recently, we received the following from a young Mr. Leo Fourmentraux, a history war reenactment actor in France:

“Greetings from France, my name is Leo. I am a 17 years old and I am re-enacting the Second World War under your banner, the 90th division.

The goal of the historical reenactment is to recreate as faithfully as possible scenes and camps of the Second World War. In our case, from June 6, 1944 to the end of the war. That passes by the uniforms, the tents and barracks and the vehicles (of the jeep to the m4 sherman). We show the public the organization of a division with various activities like a field hospital, the management of a squad, and the life of the Soldier and also the American culture. Several divisions are represented including yours, the 2nd armored division, 1st Infantry etc ...

Re-enactments lasts an average of 2 to 3 days and we commemorate each life lost during this period. In addition we do a convoy in the surroundings with all the vehicles to represent a collon of liberators

We do this all year long in events more or less big that are located where the fights took place, from Normandy, through the north and Belgium and the east. These events are realized thanks to several associations and independents which can gather up to 500 vehicles of period in an event!
(Normandy and the Ardennes are the most important events even if there are many in the north)

For my part I reconstitute the life of a young person engaged in the 90th Division of Infantry, with a uniform of a medic and medical organization and also of the military police.

I also paid tribute to Leo E. Bennett, of the 90th. A young man who died as a result of his injuries in Normandy.

Know that the 90th will never be forgotten in France. I hope one day to meet you !”
